How to Rent a Sur Ron in Bali
Renting a Sur Ron in Bali is done over WhatsApp, not at a shopfront. Here is exactly how it works, from first message to riding away.
1. Send a WhatsApp message
Tell us four things: the dates you want the bike, which model you are after, where you are staying, and your riding experience. That last point matters — these are off-road bikes, they are quick, and they suit riders who already have two-wheel experience.
2. We confirm availability and price
We reply with what is free for your dates and the total for the rental period. Pricing is by duration and by model, so longer rentals work out cheaper per day. See Sur Ron rental prices.
3. ID, deposit and paperwork
To rent from us you need to be at least 18 and provide a clear photo of your passport. A refundable deposit is held for the length of the rental. Before you ride, you read and sign our rental agreement — it takes a few minutes and covers the bike, the deposit and your responsibilities.
Insurance & liability: there is no insurance or damage waiver. The bikes are for off-road use and you are liable for the full cost of any damage, loss or theft while the bike is with you. Owner: add the deposit amount / form (cash or card hold) if you want it public.
4. Delivery or pickup
We deliver to your villa or hotel anywhere in Bali. The delivery fee depends on where you are staying, so we confirm it once we have spoken and agreed the area. If it is easier for you, you can also collect the bike from us in the Seminyak area and return it there. On handover we bring the charger (and helmets if you need them), walk you through how the bike rides, check the ID and deposit, and note any existing marks on the bike with you.
5. Riding and returning
Keep the bike for a day, a week or a month. Charge it from a normal wall socket — about 6 hours for a full charge, best done overnight. When you are done, message us and we collect it.
A few tips
- Book earlier in high season (July–August, Christmas–New Year) — stock is limited.
- Have your accommodation address as a map pin ready to send.
